Halesi Mahadev Pilgrimage Package

Halesi Mahadev is a pilgrimage site located in Khotang district. The temple is a venerated pilgrimage site for Hindus, Buddhists and Kirat. It is also known as the Pashupatinath of eastern Nepal. At Halesi Mahadev, there are three mysterious caves which are 67 feet below the surface of the land and considered to be the three eyes of Lord Shiva. The caves are called the Halesi Mahadev Temple by Hindus who associate them with Mahadeva(a form of Shiva) while they are known as the sacred place to Buddhists, who consider them to be the caves associated with the legend of Padmasambhava. On the day of full moon, large number of pilgrims visit the Haleshi Mahadev Temple and it's believed that if they go on a pilgrimage to this holy place then their wishes will get fulfilled. However, You can visit the temple at any time of the year. The distance of Halesi Mahadev Temple is around 230 KM fro Kathmandu.
