Located approximately 27 km southwest of Kathmandu, Chitlang is a small and old Newari town of Makawanpur District which straddles as an ancient trade route between the capital and the rest of the country before Tribhuvan Highway was built. It is surrounded by greenery from all sides. There is an Ashoka Chaitya built by Indian emperor Ashoka in Chitlang which is a confluence of different castes, languages and cultures. Chilang Village is also known as the main place for production of vegetables such as cabbage, potato and also goat cheese and pear farm.

  • Day 1

    Kathmandu To Chitlang

    2 hours drive from Kathmandu to Chitlang. Upon reaching Chitang, guests will be transferred to the hotel/resort. They will have some time for refreshment and rest at the hotel. They can also go out for sightseeing around the village. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Campfire and dance programs will be organized for entertainment.

  • Day 2

    Sightseeing of Chitlang and Drive To Kathmandu

    Breakfast will be served to guests on the second day of the trip. After breakfast, guests will be taken to the goat cheese factory, Saat Dhara and Majhgaon. Lunch at the resort and drive to Markhu. Boating in Kulekhani lake and departure to Kathmandu.
