Sauraha is famous due to its proximity to the Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first national park and it makes Chitwan one of the busiest tourist destinations of the country. During the Sauraha tour, you can observe the mesmerizing Tharu cultural dance, ride a canoe in the Rapti river, ride an elephant and go for jungle safari and or enjoy a jungle walk. You will experience a safe encounter with a variety of animals and birds.

  • Day 1

    Kathmandu To Sauraha

    Drive from Kathmandu to Sauraha early in the morning. The journey will take around 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Sauraha, guests will be transferred to the hotel and lunch will be served. Guests can observe the Tharu village and their lifestyle in their spare time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2

    Sightseeing & Activities at Sauraha

    Breakfast will be served early in the morning at the hotel. Then they will be taken for canoe ride along the Rapti river. Jungle walk and elephant bathing view are also offered. Guests will get back to the hotel for lunch. Again, they will be taken for elephant safari and sightseeing in Chitwan National Park. Tharu cultural dance will be shown in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    On the third day of the Sauraha trip, breakfast will be served to guests early in the morning. Then, with a journey back to orgin will conclude the trip.
